NEIGHBORS-HELPING-NEIGHBORS is coming again this spring!

Saturday May 13, 2017 from 10am to 4pm.

Bring your family down for some old-fashioned fun while supporting our local food pantry!

This event is in coordination with the U.S. Postal Carrier's annual canned food drive.  Don't miss the opportunity to have mom's car washed by Glide Fire's volunteers.   All activities are on a donation basis, with all funds staying here locally to purchase food for Glide's Helping Hands food pantry.

Fundraiser benefiting Glide's Food Pantry - Saturday, May 14th, 2016

This year's event was again hosted at Glide Fire for the Glide Community's involvement and enjoyment.  All activities were on a donation basis, and very $1 cash donation equaled 4 lbs. of food!  While our firefighter's washed cars, community members and their children played carnival games and won prizes, had their faces painted, built a bird house, transplanted a plant to take home, and selected from a wide-array of delicious baked goods!

Although it rained during most of Saturday's event, funds raised and donated food equaled 9,412 lbs. of food.  Adding in food and cash donations received the following week, a total of 10,368 lbs. of food was added to Glide's food pantry shelves!

Thank you to all who donated baked goodies, hosted game and activity booths, painted an endless stream of faces all day, and washed cars!
